The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda has praised the existing trade relationship between his country and the UAE. Ruhakana Rugunda welcomed a UAE delegation to Uganda where they held a meeting to identify the different economic sectors in the country as well as look for investment opportunities. The Prime Minister is keen for the delegation to look at the hospitality and hotels sector that is currently growing in Uganda. According to WAM news agency, His Excellency Abdullah Al Owais, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sharjah says this high-level meeting between the two sides will push forward the economic and trade partnership.
