Dubai’s Global Village has been ranked among the most visited entertainment destinations in the world.
That’s according to figures released in the Global Attractions Attendance Report by the US-based Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and AECOM.
With an average daily footfall of 42,000 guests, the multicultural festival park is ranked fourth, behind Disney's Magic Kingdom Orlando (57,000), Disneyland Anaheim (51,000) and Tokyo Disneyland (49,000).
Since opening its doors in 1997, Global Village has welcomed more than 90 million visitors, with over 3.5 million visiting during the first two months of the ongoing season 24.
It also drew nearly a quarter (24%) of all tourists who visited Dubai in H1 2019, according to the latest data from Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
