A fire that broke out in two warehouses in the Al Quoz Industrial Area (the third) at lunchtime, July 7, was quickly brought under control by Dubai Civil Defence.
Emergency services were on the scene within six minutes of the initial report being received by the operations room at 1:21 pm.
They performed a controlled evacuation of the premises and the fire was brought under control by 2:09 pm.
No injuries or deaths were reported and the necessary cooling work started quickly afterwards.
