Two salons have been shut down by Dubai Municipality.
During the latest round of inspections, which covered 2,325 outlets, six fines were also issued to shops in the emirate.
Inspectors revealed that 17 warnings were handed out to other establishments.
According to municipality officials, this comes as part of their commitment to ensure that COVID-19 precautionary measures are met.
