Abdulrazzaq bin Zaal bin Jabr Al Ruwaili from Saudi Arabia has been honoured for his bravery after he saved a man from drowning in Dubai Creek.
During a special ceremony, the Saudi national was presented with a certificate as a mark of gratitude and recognition.
Brigadier Dr Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of Ports Police Station, commended Al Ruwaili for his willingness to risk his own life to save others.
He said such actions reinforce the importance of the partnership between Dubai Police and the public and promotes a culture of collective responsibility in maintaining security and safety.
On his part, Al Ruwaili expressed his appreciation for the recognition, saying that what he had done was simply a humanitarian and community duty.
