The Filipino community in the UAE has started organising fund-raising and the sending of relief goods for the victims of Typhoon Koppu. At least three people have died, five have been injured, and more than 200,000 residents in the Philippines displaced because of the super typhoon. In Dubai, a number of groups are set to gather tonight to plan the activities. ARN News has spoken to the Philippine Consul General in Dubai and Northern Emirates Paul Cortes who welcomes the efforts.
