Dubai Airports confirms that a concourse at Dubai International Airport (DXB) sustained minor damage in a quickly contained incident.
Emergency teams were immediately deployed and are working with authorities to manage the situation.
Four staff members were injured and have received prompt medical attention.
Thanks to pre-existing contingency plans, most terminals had already been cleared of passengers. Further updates will follow as they become available.
