Public transport riders can now use their Nol cards to pay fares on The Palm Monorail.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have confirmed that residents, visitors and tourists can now use Nol gold, silver or blue cards to pay for their daily journeys on the Monorail.
Mohammed Yousef Al Mudharreb, CEO of Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, RTA, said, "This initiative supports the efforts to integrate the public transport networks and offer seamless mobility journeys for riders all over Dubai."
"It also enhances the experience of Nol card users by offering them multiple services via a single card. The move boosts the connection of public transport means and serves Dubai’s transit networks, which contributes to realising the first and last-mile strategy," he added.
#RTA’s nol card is now valid for paying fares for The Palm #Monorail belonging to Nakheel, one of the biggest property developers in the UAE and across the region. https://t.co/6pqh6VJiSN@thepalmmonorail @NakheelOfficial pic.twitter.com/b2lTxxFG5o
