Two major roads will be closed to traffic on Sunday morning to make way for the Dubai Ride cycling event.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Sheikh Zayed Road and the lower Financial Centre Street will be closed in both directions on November 6, from 4:00 am to 9:00 am.
Motorists are advised to follow the directional signs for alternative routes.
These include Al Wasl Street, Al Khail Road, Al Meydan Street, Al Asayel Street, 2nd Zaa’beel Street, 2nd December Street, and Al Hadiqa Street.
Dubai Ride is one of the flagship events of Dubai Fitness Challenge, and will once again offer families and cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to ride past iconic landmarks on Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai, including Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal and Burj Khalifa.
