Road closures will be in place on Sunday, November 24, to make way for the Dubai Run, as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed between the Trade Centre Roundabout and the second bridge, from 3:30 am to 10:30 am, and so will the Lower Financial Centre Street along the stretch between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard will also be closed in one direction, as well as Al Sukook Street between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Boursa Street.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has advised motorists to take alternative routes. These include Financial Centre Road (upper level), Za'abeel Palace Street, Al Mustaqbal Road, Al Wasl Road, Al Khail Road and Al Bada'a Street.

The Dubai Run, which marks the grand finale of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, is open to runners and fitness enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.

Participants will have the choice of two distinct routes -  a 5 km route for beginners and families, and a more challenging 10 km route for experienced runners.
