UAE announces early spring break for schools, universities

The UAE Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced early closure for spring break for all public and private schools, as well as universities.

It will be from Monday, March 9, until Sunday, March 22. 

The dates will apply to academic and administrative staff as well. 

The announcement follows the approval of the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council (EHCD).

Classes and official working hours will resume on Monday, March 23.
