UAE condemns Houthi attack on civilian facilities

WAM

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has condemned the Houthi militia's attack on UAE soil.

It added that the heinous attack on civilian facilities will not go unpunished and the country reserves the right to respond to the criminal aggression.

The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of those killed and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

Three people were killed and six wounded when three fuel tankers exploded in Abu Dhabi's Musaffah area near ADNOC's storage facilities on Monday.

A minor fire was also reported near a construction area of the Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Officials said an investigation was ongoing but that the explosion and the fire may have been caused by drones.
