The UAE has condemned the attack on a tourist bus near the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has expressed solidarity with the government and people of Egypt in their fight against extremism.

It added that such cowardly acts go against all religious and humanitarian values.

At least 14 people were injured in Sunday’s attack, which occurred near the Giza Pyramids.
