UAE leaders congratulate Sultan of Oman on 55th National Day

UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has led messages congratulating the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq on the country’s 55th National Day.

In a message post on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the strong ties shared between the two nations, and the continuous efforts to strengthen relations.

"The bonds of friendship between our nations and people are deeply rooted and we look forward to further strengthening these ties to foster lasting progress and prosperity," he wrote.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also posted as special message, wishing the Sultan of Oman lasting glory and success for the country.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, sent congratulatory messages to the Omani ruler.

Marking the occasion, landmarks across the UAE have been lit up in the colours of the Omani flag, while Omani visitors arriving at airports and border crossings will be welcomed with roses and commemorative gifts.
