The UAE's National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has said it's fully prepared to deal with any issues arising from the current spell of wet and windy weather.
It said there's a possibility of heavy downpours and hail affecting parts of the country, and has co-ordinated with the Ministry of Interior, the National Centre of Meteorology and other government agencies, to deal with the low-pressure weather system that the UAE is experiencing.
It's urged the public to heed any weather warnings, avoid areas that are prone to flooding, and mountainous areas.
