President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has stressed the need for immediate action to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, during a call with the President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel.
The pair discussed the importance of preserving lives and bringing peace and security to the region.
Michel also acknowledged the UAE’s humanitarian role in providing aid to Palestine and reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to continuing to work with the UAE to further strengthen humanitarian efforts.
They also explored ways to enhance cooperation to serve the interests of the UAE and EU, building on an already strong relationship and their mutual commitment to further developing ties.
