UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has visited a number of people injured in the Iranian attacks who are receiving treatment in hospital.
He wishing them a speedy recovery and a safe return to their families in good health.
Sheikh Mohamed spoke with the injured and their families, who are of Emirati, Sudanese, Iranian, Pakistani and Indian nationalities.
He told them: “You are among your family and in your country. Your safety, and the safety of everyone who lives in the UAE, is a responsibility and a top priority for us.”
His Highness said such circumstances highlight the true character of UAE society through solidarity, cooperation and commitment to the safety guidelines issued by the country’s authorities.
He also expressed appreciation for the efforts of medical teams providing care and support.
The injured and their families thanked His Highness for the visit and praised the care and attention they receive in the UAE.
Several of the injured have already been discharged from hospital after recovering.
