UAE Ramadan campaign crosses AED 1 billion target

The "One Billion Meals Endowment" campaign has exceeded its target, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, has announced.

Taking to Twitter, His Highness wrote, "the outcome of the One Billion Meal Endowment campaign has reached more than AED 1.075 billion, in which more than 180,000 people participated.

"Our thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to this ongoing charity for the people of the Emirates. And it is beautiful with the values of goodness that Zayed Al-Khair established."

The One Billion Meals Endowment campaign helps vulnerable communities in dozens of countries around the world during the holy month of Ramadan.

The campaign reflects the UAE’s approach in humanitarian aid and its commitment to developing long-term solutions to improve human’s lives across the world, without any discrimination.

It's an expansion of the UAE’s previous Ramadan campaigns - 10 Million Meals, 100 Million Meals and One Billion Meals organised in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
