The World’s Tallest Donation Box shone bright with 393,000 lights as donations continued to pour in for people affected by COVID-19.
The latest number came four days after the launch of the initiative, which is tied with the 10 Million Meals campaign.
Individuals and organisations can buy a light on the façade of Burj Khalifa for as little as AED 10 each, with one light corresponding to a meal for the needy.
The ultimate aim is to deliver 1.2 million meals by lighting up the entire tower.
