Omar Abdulrahman has been included in the UAE national football team's squad for an upcoming summer training camp in Austria.
The gifted playmaker has been sidelined since he had knee surgery last October.
It'll be the first time the former Al Ain captain will work with new manager Bert van Marwijk.
Abdulrahman was the 2016 Asian player of the year.
He is the only player from outside the Arabian Gulf League (AGL) to be a part of the UAE's first squad.
They'll converge in Austria, Salzburg from July 13-22 for a week-long summer training camp.
