AC Milan won their 19th Serie A title, their first in 11 years after beating Sassuolo 3-0.
Stefano Pioli's took over the club in 2019 and initially faced strong criticism due to previously managing their rivals Inter Milan.
Olivier Giroud scored twice and Franck Kessie grabbed the third just before half time.
AC Milan's previous title was for Allegri in 2011. Since then Clarence Seedorf, Filippo Inzaghi, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Vincenzo Montella and Gennaro Gattuso have all since tried and failed to bring the glory days back to the former European champions.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was part of the last Milan side that won Serie A and at the age of 40 he lifted the trophy with the club for a second time and marking what could be his final game for the club. Ibrahimovic has struggled for fitness this season and has hinted he might hang up his boots.
