Conor Gallagher has completed his move to Atletico Madrid from Chelsea on a five-year deal. The midfielder joins the Spanish side for a fee in the region of £33 million (AED 157 million).
The 24-year-old has been at Chelsea from the age of six and went on to make 90 appearances for the Blues, scoring 10 goals.
Gallagher, who also enjoyed a loan spell at fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace, was in the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have decided to cash in the midfielder before potentially losing the England international on a free transfer next summer.
The Blues started their Premier League campaign on Sunday with a loss at home to champions Manchester City.
