India edged out West Indies in low-scoring encounter to win the opening match of their T20 International series in Florida.
Batting first, the Windies were restricted to just 98 for 6 in their 20 overs with Kieron Pollard top-scoring on 49.
India's run chase was far from smooth as they lost six wickets on their way to a scrappy win with 16 balls remaining.
The second match will be played on Sunday.
