Lowry, Holmes lead at Open Championship

Reigning Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship winner Shane Lowry is tied for the lead at the halfway stage of The Open Championship.

The Irishman is on eight under par along with America's JB Holmes after two rounds at Royal Portrush.

The duo are a shot ahead of Tommy Fleetwood and Lee Westwood.

Meanwhile Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Phil Mickelson all missed the cut.
