Scottish golfer, Colin Montgomerie has expressed sympathy for Ernie Els, after the South African made the record for the highest score on the first hole in the history of the tournament, scoring nine on Thursday. The four-time major winner needed six putts to sink the ball at the US Masters in Augusta, which Montgomerie said, was awkward to watch.
