Dubai Police impound car after driver performs reckless stunts

A driver has been detained and his vehicle impounded after he was caught drifting, and dangerously swerving and speeding in Dubai Marina.

Brigadier Jumaa Salem bin Suwaidan, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic, said they have intensified patrolling to curb noise pollution and traffic disruptions in residential areas under the 'Quiet Roads' initiative.

The driver will face legal action for disrupting traffic and putting the lives of other road users at risk.

The public has been encouraged to report violators through the “Police Eye” service on the Dubai Police app.
