One woman. One action. One light.
Breast cancer can change a life in an instant but behind every diagnosis is a story of courage, hope, resilience and love.
Nearly nine in ten women in the UAE know at least one risk factor for breast cancer, yet only around 15% of eligible women screen regularly. The awareness is there but action is still waiting.
This October, Dubai Eye 103.8 and MetLife are shining a light on the human stories behind breast cancer with Light for Life. Throughout the month, we’ll hear from survivors, patients, experts and people working to make a difference, sharing stories that remind us that no one has to face it alone.
And we want our community to be part of the light.
Take the pledge. Send us the word DONE. Every time we receive a DONE, we’ll turn on another symbolic light, creating a collective reminder of the strength, support and hope within our community.
But your action can go further. Ask a friend, sister, mother or colleague to book her screening. Book yours too. And, if you can, go together.
Make your action count. Send DONE to Dubai Eye 103.8 and help us light the way.
