India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed exams scheduled for Class 10 and 12 students on Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, in the UAE and the Middle East due to the "ongoing regional developments".
The Board added that the new test dates will be announced after a review on Thursday.
Speaking to Dubai Eye 103.8's Agenda on Tuesday, Punit Vasu, CEO of Indian High Group of Schools, explained that the Indian board does has a comprehensive set of evaluation tools in place.
The Board advised students to follow up with their schools for any updates and information on the examinations.
Vasu also highlighted that mental health of the students is a priority.
Earlier, the board postponed the exam on March 2 following the Iranian missile.
The Middle East countries include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
