Non-urgent elective surgeries allowed to resume in Dubai

Starting March 21, hospitals and one-day surgery clinics in Dubai will be allowed to conduct non-urgent, elective surgeries.

According to a Tweet by the Dubai Media Office, all hospitals and one-day surgery centers licensed by (Dubai Health Authority) will be allowed to carry out these procedures while fully adhering to the COVID-19 safety and precautionary measures. 

It was in January that the authority suspended elective surgeries to prioritise "critical health" care.
